Protoadapis recticuspidens has an average body mass of 1.6 kilograms (Fleagle, 1999). This species has a dental formula of 2:1:4:3 (Franzen, 1987; cited in Martin, 1990).

RANGE:
Protoadapis recticuspidens lived on the continent of Europe and occurred during the early to middle Eocene (Fleagle, 1999).
